In a recent press release, the National Salvation Front (NAS) stated that their forces in the Equatoria region are undergoing confrontations with the allied forces in several locations. One of the Hagiga Wahid community ambassadors who had contacts with people in Busia has said the allied forces were carrying out the bombardments in Caliamusala, an area that they believed to be hosting rebels loyal to General Thomas Cyrillo.
